4th Heli-India Summit 2022 Inaugurated By JyotiradityaScindia:-

Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Minister of Civil Aviation, has inaugurated the fourth Heli-India Summit 2022 in Srinagar and stated that a civil enclave will be built in Jammu and Srinagar’s current terminal, which will be expanded three times to 60,000 square metres. Addressing the summit, the minister stated that the J&K government’s reduction in VAT on Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) from 26.5% to 1% has heralded a new era for air connectivity in the union territory, with a 360% increase in refuelling and thus increased air connectivity to the region.


Abdul Latif Rashid Elected As President Of Iraq:-

Iraqi lawmakers have chosen Kurdish politician Abdul Latif Rashid to be the country’s new president, paving the way for the formation of a new government. Rashid defeated fellow Iraqi Kurd Barham Saleh in a two-round parliamentary vote, receiving more than 160 votes to Saleh’s 99. As the votes were being counted, Saleh reportedly walked out of the parliament building. The most recent political impasse began when al-Sadr emerged as the largest winner in a parliamentary vote in October 2021, but was unable to muster enough support to form a government.


Nation’s First Slender Loris Habitat In Karur, Dindigul Districts Of Tamil Nadu:-

Nation’s First Slender Loris Habitat: The Tamil Nadu government has designated the Kaduvur Slender Loris sanctuary, which spans 11,806 hectares in Karur and Dindigul districts, as India’s first Slender Loris sanctuary. The announcement Nation’s First Slender Loris Habitat followed CM MK Stalin’s approval.“Happy to announce that the Government of Tamil Nadu has notified India’s first ‘Kadavur Slender Loris Sanctuary’ covering an area of 11,806 hectares in Karur &Dindigul Districts,” said the Chief Minister’s Office. Nation’s First Slender Loris Habitat “The sanctuary will play an important role in conservation of Slender Loris and yet another milestone in TN’s conservation efforts,” the CMO added.

Tata Power Trading Company (TPTCL) and 75F Smart Innovations India have signed an agreement to promote automation and energy-efficiency solutions in commercial buildings.“Tata Power Trading Company (TPTCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power and 75F Smart Innovations India have signed an agreement to jointly promote building automation and energy efficiency solutions in the commercial building space across industry verticals like IT/ITeS, BFSI hospitality, healthcare, education, government and retail,” said a company release.


PM Modi Inaugurated 4th Vande Bharat Express In Himachal Pradesh:-

The fourth Vande Bharat Express train has been inaugurated in Himachal Pradesh’s Una district by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to railway officials, the train will run between Delhi and Himachal Pradesh. Train number 22447 from New Delhi to AmbAndaura will start at 5:50am and will reach AmbAndaura railway station at 11:05am and the train 22448 from AmbAndaura will depart at 1pm to reach New Delhi at 6:25pm. According to officials, the train will have 16 coaches and will stop in Ambala, Chandigarh, Anandpur Sahib, and Una Himachal.


Indian Navy Conducts Offshore Security Exercise, ‘Prasthan’:-

Under the auspices of Headquarters, Eastern Naval Command, an offshore security exercise called ‘Prasthan’ was held in the Krishna Godavari Basin Offshore Development Area (ODA). The security exercise ‘Prasthan,’ according to the Ministry of Defence, was held on October 11 and 12. The exercise which is conducted every six months is an important element of ensuring offshore security and aims to integrate the efforts of all maritime stakeholders involved in offshore defence. The exercise met all its intended objectives.


Rajnath Singh launched ‘Maa Bharati KeSapoot’ Website:-

Rajnath Singh, the Defence Minister, has launched a website where citizens can donate to the Armed Forces Battle Casualties Welfare Fund (AFBCWF). According to a senior Army official, the AFBCWF is a tri-service fund that is used to provide immediate financial assistance to the families of our soldiers, sailors, and airmen who die or are seriously injured in active military operations. In a video message, actor Amitabh Bachchan urged people to contribute to the fund.


Google Cloud Gets MeitY Nod To Partner With Public Sector Firms:-

Google Cloud has announced its empanelment by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), allowing it to apply cloud technology to solve complex problems for government organizations. With the empanelment, referred to as the MeitY accreditation, Google is now positioned to fully partner with India’s public sector organisations to become an active participant in India’s digital transformation initiatives, especially Project Meghraj that aims at making a multi-level, national cloud-sharing foundation giving affordable, secure, and safe data storage for everyone.
