Former Indian Cricket MS Dhoni Launches Made-In-India ‘Droni’ Camera Drone:-

Star Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni has unveiled the ‘Droni,’ a made-in-India camera drone with advanced features manufactured by Garuda Aerospace. Dhoni is the brand ambassador of Garuda Aerospace, a company which has attempted to offer drone solutions for agricultural pesticide spraying, solar panel cleaning, industrial pipeline inspections, mapping, surveying, public announcements, and delivery services. It has ventured into the consumer drone market with ‘Droni’.


Nobel Prize For Economics 2022:-

The Nobel Prize in Economics for 2022 has been awarded to Ben S Bernanke, Douglas W Diamond, and Philip H Dybvig for their work on banks and financial crises. Nobel Prize For Economics The cash prizes total 10 million Swedish kronor (nearly $900,000) and will be awarded on December 10. The work for which Bernanke, Diamond and Dybvig are being recognised has been crucial to subsequent research that has enhanced our understanding of banks, bank regulation, banking crises and how financial crises should be managed.


Cristiano Ronaldo Reached Record 700 Club Career Goals:-

Cristiano Ronaldo set yet another record when he scored his 700th club goal of his career after coming on as a substitute for Manchester United against Everton in the Premier League. It was also Ronaldo’s 144th goal in the red jersey of Manchester United over two spells at the club. In his illustrious career, the Portuguese forward has also scored five goals for Sporting Lisbon, 101 for Juventus, and 450 for Real Madrid. Ronaldo, on the other hand, came on as a substitute for Anthony Martial after once again starting on the bench.


37th National Games: Goa To Host Games In October 2023:-

The Indian Olympic Association has confirmed that Goa will host the 37th edition of the National Games in October of next year. The Goa state government has given the IOA its in-principle approval to host the next National Games.In a letter to Ajit Roy, Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs, Goa, IOA Secretary General Rajeev Mehta wrote: “IOA is pleased to note the whole-hearted support of the Government of Goa to host the 37th National Games in Goa in 2023, hence conveying IOA’s approval to orgainse the 37th National Games in Goa.”


Pooja Patel Becomes First Athlete To Win Gold In Yogasana:-

Pooja Patel is the first athlete from Gujarat to win gold in yogasana at the 36th National Games. With her magnificent and seamless performance, she has etched her name in history. The National Games this year include five sports, including yogasana, which was performed for the first time. The 36th edition of the National Games of India was held in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot and Bhavnagar in the state of Gujarat between 29 September and 12 October 2022.


Indian Air Force: Weapon Systems Branch Approved For First Time:-

For the first time since independence, the Centre has approved the establishment of a weapon systems branch for officers in the Indian Air Force (IAF).Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari said, “It is my privilege to announce that the government has approved the creation of a weapon systems branch for the officers of the Indian Air Force.” “This is the first time since Independence that a new operational branch is being created. The creation of this branch would result in savings of over Rs 3,400 crore due to the reduced expenditure on flying training,” he said.


Gujarat’s ModheraBecame India’s First 24×7 Solar-Powered Village:-

Modhera village in Gujarat has been designated as the country’s first 24×7 solar-powered village by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modhera, famous for a centuries-old Sun temple built during the Chalukya period, will also be known as a “solar-powered village,” according to Modi. The Modhera village is located 25 km from the Gurajat district of Mehsana and approximately 100 kmfrom the state capital of Gandhinagar. To generate electricity, the village has a ground-mounted solar power plant and over 1,300 rooftop solar systems with 1kW capacity installed on houses.


Jharkhand And West Bengal Topped In Worst State List In Terms Of Child Marriage:-

Despite being known for its mine reserves, Jharkhand has earned the unsavoury reputation of having the highest percentage of underage girls marrying. According to the latest demographic sample survey conducted by the Union Home Ministry, the percentage of girls marrying before reaching the age of majority in Jharkhand is as high as 5.8. Not only Jharkhand, but West Bengal has enough as well, with more than half of women in the state marrying before reaching the age of 21. In West Bengal, approximately 54.9 percent of girls marry before reaching the age of 21.


Nitin Gadkari Inaugurated Indian Roads Congress In Lucknow:-

Union road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari promised Yogi Adityanath that by 2024, the state’s road infrastructure would be comparable to that of the United States. Gadkari was speaking at the 81st annual conference of the Indian Road Congress (IRC), which he and Yogi Adityanath co-hosted in Lucknow. The remark came shortly after Adityanath announced that, beginning next year, Uttar Pradesh would also institute an award to be given out by the Indian Road Congress for innovative road practises.


Hero MotoCorp Launched EV Scooter Vida V1 In India:-

On October 7th, Hero MotoCorp entered the EV industry with the launch of its first electric scooter under its EV-only brand Vida. The Vida V1 will initially be available for purchase in a limited number of cities, including Delhi, Bengaluru, and Jaipur (starting at Rs 1.45 lakh and Rs 1.59 lakh for V1 Pro). The price tag is currently high but the V1 is built on a modular platform, which points to a possibility for products at a lower price later as the company gets more data and feedback from its buyers.
